Growing up Josh was my neighbor! It was not unusual to find Josh in our pantry eating a can of pringles when we would come home. I can remember making crazy videos with my brothers and Josh. He was definitely became close to my family. We were so excited when he called us and asked us to be a part of his wedding day.
The wedding took place in Union, Missouri. When we woke up on the wedding day, it was pouring rain! The whole morning it was really wet. Lots of prayers were said and as soon as we did the guys photos all of the rain clouds went away! Karen’s dad is a pastor and he performed the ceremony. It was such a special day.
Here is their love story. (Written by the Bride)
“Josh and I met during my first semester of college. We started out as good friends. We both love sports, and I remember we always ended up on the same team when we would play co Ed volleyball at the college. Before long, he was head over heels for me, and I was super impressed with his volleyball skills. 😉 We had our first date in March of 2015. We went to chapel together and had a lunch date afterwards. We were both nervous, but I remember laughing so hard and having such a good time with him. After that date, I knew I wanted to keep dating him. He felt the same way, and we went on maaaannnnyyy dates after that. We dated all four years of college. Josh told me he loved me on December 23rd, 2017 while ice skating in my hometown. He asked me to marry him on October 20th, 2018 at my very favorite spot in my hometown. A bluff over looking the most gorgeous sunset!! We were married on June 15th, 2019 and it truly was the most perfect day, a dream come true!”
